This is a chronicle on the design and construction of a house in the Philippines, including technical details, and may be of interest to people considering a similar construction project in Asia. I also write about the cost-effective, highly capable home control system I am designing from scratch and installing in the house.

My name is Michael Hansson. I’m an embedded systems engineer and a self-confessed technopreneur, with an MS degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Institute of Technology at Linköping University. I currently work for a global electronics company but anything I do or may write about here is all my own stuff.
